I remember his medical school interview day. It was February 8, 2008. That same chaotic day we were moving into our first house and I got maced in the Police Academy (one of my many career paths that wasn’t my purpose). In all of the madness, I knew he was getting in. The conviction in my mind that he would be accepted into medical school was unwavering faith. Sadly, that shiny feeling of conviction dimmed from time to time. I’m here to tell you don’t let it! All you will lose is time and the ability to make precious memories. I sometimes made the mistake of thinking the end would be our beginning. Yet, in contrast the beginning is exactly that. Enjoy your journey for every struggle and trial that you will surely encounter. It will make your story that much richer.
“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”-1 Thessalonians 5:18
